Since joining BSB Design in 1989, Dave has been involved in a multitude of project types, including single family, multifamily, mixed use, and 55+ communities. As a lead designer in the firm,

Dave is actively involved in defining our national design vision, and he maintains specific focus and leadership in Texas and the southeast. He has managed and designed award-winning projects throughout the United States and has held key positions in a number of community vision committees. His knowledge of the industry and design trends throughout the country, combined with his commitment to providing immediate response and follow through, make him an invaluable resource to his clients. Dave is a frequent expert speaker at industry events and conferences, contributes to trade publications, and strives to push the design envelope at every opportunity.

ED M. BINKLEY, AIA

Ed Binkley has been instrumental in responsive housing design since 1985. He has a strong focus on designing single family and multifamily homes that live easy and smart. This strategy also focuses on how buildings come together, how the spaces in between are addressed, and how to create “community” within every project. He is also a pioneer in the “small house movement” and has an efficient, affordable, green, systems approach to housing, which coincides with his development of The Shelter Series, a collection of small, rapidly-built homes that incorporate sustainable principles. Ed’s experience includes work with national and international green housing programs and the design of several demonstration homes that highlight effective design principles. He was the design architect for The New American Home® in 2005 and 2007 as well as the 2011 Green Builder Vision House in Orlando. Ed is a frequent national speaker and contributing editor to national publications in areas of housing.

BOB E. BOYD, RLA

Bob Boyd is a registered landscape architect and the Director of Land Planning for the Tampa office of BSB Design. Active in many professional organizations, including ULI and NAHB, he has over 30 years of experience in land planning and landscape architecture for single family, multifamily and mixed use projects. Before joining BSB Design in 1990, Bob’s work at Tampa Palms in Tampa, Florida, earned the NAHB 1987 Master Planned Community of the Year. Bob designed Neal Communities’ flagship master planned development, University Park, which won numerous community design awards including “Best Master Planned Community Design in America” from the National Association of Home Builders.

JOLANTA BAUER

Jolanta has worked in design and construction for nearly 30 years. Her experience spans professional services firms, private design-build entities, and some of the largest national homebuilders in the country, where she held leadership positions in project management and architecture. Throughout her career, Jolanta has valued the process of building relationships during each and every project, which led to her current role in business development at BSB Design. Her thorough, first-hand understanding of the builder/developer perspective, along with her exposure to multiple consultant disciplines, such as engineering and interior design, allow her to offer invaluable insight during all stages of the project development process. She studied architecture at the Technical University of Gdansk, Poland, and has worked in the United States, primarily in Florida and the southeast, for the majority of her professional career.

CAMILA GIOPPO

Senior Intern Architect

Camila has worked on project teams for a wide range of product types, both in Brazil and domestically. Her primary responsibilities have included design assistance and development of AutoCAD and Revit drawings throughout each project. She has been integral in ensuring code compliance and quality control through specifications analysis, particularly as part of her oversight during revision phases of design development. In addition to her work with traditional professional services architecture and planning firms, Camila also worked on contract for Best Buy Co., Inc., in Richfield, MN. She assisted with the development of retail store plans and iterated prototype designs with modifications to fixtures, product merchandising layouts, directional signage and other customer-facing elements. At BSB Design, Camila contributes to product development during all stages of the process and prides herself on attention to detail and client service.
