Idyllwilde Grand Hall

Parker, CO

Surrounded by acres of green space with rolling hills, ravines, stream beds and wildlife corridors, Idyllwilde offers a ranch-like setting within the city. To reflect this pastoral landscape, the Grand Hall and its associated amenity buildings were designed to resemble typical farm outbuildings. Taking cues from a traditional cattle barn, The Grand Hall features a soaring two-story center space flanked by "sheds." High windows, often used in barns for light and ventilation, capture spectacular mountain views. A "silo" houses the staircase while other authentic barn details and rustic materials combine to create a rural facade for a truly grand space.
