BSB Design Wins 2 Aurora Awards!
August 8, 2022

Principal Michael Kramer and Project Architect Anthony Barsi attended the 43rd annual Aurora Awards in Kissamee, FL in conjunction with the Southeast Building Conference. Although it was a smaller crowd this year, it still feels refreshing to be attending in-person events. We were 2/2 on awards this year - and these projects are deserving! Check out the designs below.

The Marshall Fayetteville was designed as a new upscale student rental community serving the University of Arkansas. Its prime, edge of campus location and attention to forward-thinking amenities that exceed renter expectations generated excellent lease-up rates and have established it as the premier option for off-campus housing in the area. Developers embraced a high-energy design vision that captures the essence of the nearby University in subtle and bold ways, offering a truly unique experience through impactful, lasting memory points.

The primary objective of this custom show home was to create a compelling, contemporary, lifestyle-driven floor plan in a high-performance building. Environmentally conscious consumers will value the full implementation of sustainable materials and energy management systems in a fairly modest footprint. Energy conservation technologies are seamlessly incorporated throughout the design, providing comfort, cost-savings, and environmental benefits without impeding on the aesthetic or functionality of the spaces they serve.
Featuring 61 categories, the Aurora Awards encompasses all facets of the residential, commercial and remodeling industries.
