Metro 19
Metro 19 is a transit-oriented residential development shaped by a highly constrained site and active surrounding uses. The project required careful coordination among a non-profit housing parcel, an operating bank, transit parking and public right of way, all of which remained in use throughout planning. A significant grade change was resolved by integrating a partially below-grade garage and shared circulation that supports residents, transit users and neighboring businesses.
Above this technical base, the five-story building wraps a central courtyard designed as the primary outdoor living space, bringing light, movement and amenity into a dense configuration. With a contemporary interpretation of regional warehouse forms, Metro 19 demonstrates how complex transit-adjacent sites can be transformed into cohesive, livable communities through integrated planning and architecture.
