Over the past 30+ years, Dan has refined and improved the firm’s unique design consultation process. Today, the BSB Design charette provides clients with quality design and product programming in a compressed time frame, delivering more in one week than most firms can in months. His goal is to inspire all BSB Design staff to pursue personal and professional growth that will lead the firm into the future.
When Dan was 8 years old, he wrote a paper that his mom still has explaining that he was going to be an architect. When he saw Falling Water by Frank Lloyd Wright, Dan knew he wanted to focus on housing. Upon graduation from Iowa State University in 1987, he sent one resume out to Jack Bloodgood who was a giant in the industry, and has been here ever since.
