Project Manager/Senior Interior Designer

The Project Manager/Senior Interior Designer will provide design, coordination, and management oversight from project programming through the construction administration phases for various projects ranging in size and complexity. This position requires a thorough knowledge of current design trends, materiality, and preparation of construction documents, and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit software. In addition, this position requires the ability to recognize and resolve moderately complex problems, communicate, lead, and mange effectively with the design team, senior staff, consultants, and clients and adapt to changes and elect most effective methods of accomplishing tasks within defined budgets, schedules, and deliverables.


  • Reviews project, scope of services, project program, and timelines and establishes project schedules, deliverables and defines necessary staff resources.
  • Collaborates on the ideation, conceptual, and schematic design development of various projects.
  • Participates and coordinates with BSB team to guide the design, production, and construction documentation phases throughout the lifecycle of a project.
  • Reviews completed drawings for conformance to project program, specifications, approved practices, standards, and codes governing the work.
  • Coordinates and manages the construction administration phase of various projects, RFI responses, project submittals, and conducts on-site visits as required.
  • Follows contract, budget, schedule and standard drafting practices, and reviews standard reference sources to accomplish design intent, and concise construction documents.
  • Participates and helps lead project meetings and offers technical recommendations regarding the design and development of various projects.
  • Serves as contact liaison with the client and project team, ensuring project completion on schedule, within budget, and with maximum client satisfaction.


  • Thorough knowledge of commercial FF&E products, design, and specifications.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, Sketch-Up.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to support project tasks.


  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from a CIDA accredited College or University.
  • 10+ years related experience with multifamily, commercial, and/or hospitality projects.
  • NCIDQ Certified or on track of certification.
