  • Provides technical oversight of a multi-site enterprise level WAN, including planning, implementation/expansion, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Prepares and maintains documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts.
  • Designs, deploys, and administers the wireless infrastructure and supporting systems.
  • Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment.
  • Trains team members on new hardware or software.
  • Researches and recommends approaches for system administration tasks.
  • Analyzes and monitors server security and implements patches and fixes to address potential security holes.
  • Works closely with leadership and the Systems Administrator to evaluate, maintain and deploy solutions throughout the BSB Design network infrastructure.
  • Act as a mentor to IT staff, helping develop strong skills and practices.
  • Assists in day-to-day technical support for the entire BSB Design community.
  • Helps ensure system usage complies with BSB’s IT technology policies and practices.
  • Initiates sound Information Technology security practices.
  • Keeps up to date on current computer hardware and software technology to provide an efficient computer operation.
  • Day-to-day administration of BSB Design’s technology systems:
  • MS Active Directory Environment (2016 functional level)
  • DNS, DHCP, GPO’s, Replication, User/Computer Accounts
  • MS Hyper-V Host and Virtual Servers
  • Spam / Internet Filtering
  • Endpoint Protection and Response
  • Cisco NXOS (Catalyst Hardware)
  • Cisco Meraki Firewalls/Security
  • Cisco Meraki Switching 
  • SD Wan infrastructure
  • MPLS Infrastructure
  • MS Hyper-V Host and Virtual Servers
  • Cisco Unified Communications Phone System (VoIP)
  • Solarwinds Orian Monitoring
  • Software Deployment
  • IT Support Center / Help Desk


  • Proven experience in a network administrator role
  • Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching
  • Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
  • Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
  • Ability to set up and configure server hardware
  • Associates degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent
  • CCNA, Network+, CCNP, CCDP, CCIE or equivalent
