Tim Schelfe is a graduate from the University of Maryland, where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design. Tim is a distinguished Fellow of the American Society of Interior Designers (FASID), certified by the National Council for Interior Design Certification (NCIDQ) and a licensed Certified Interior Designer (CID). Tim has over 30 years of professional practice experience and has worked on a variety of projects including Multifamily, Commercial, Senior Living, Hospitality, and Custom Residential interiors. Tim has received over 40 interior design awards for a variety of his work. For the past decade, Tim has focused his work mostly on Multifamily and Hospitality Interior Design.

In addition, Tim has vast experience as a business entrepreneur. As a previous owner of three design firms, he has a deep understanding of the business workings of a successful design firm. Tim has spent much of his career supporting the interior design profession by actively participating with the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), first on a local level with the Carolinas Chapter of ASID serving on the Board of Directors, and as Chapter President. On a National level, Tim served on the National ASID Board of Directors twice and recently served as Chair of the ASID National Board of Directors.
