Abod_3.jpgBSB Design has had the amazing opportunity to develop a program known as "Change the World". Through this philanthropic endeavor, the Abōd project was born.

This innovative housing solution will soon change the face of third world homelessness, turning squatter camps and scrap metal shacks into problems of the past.

Check out Abōd online at http://www.myabod.com/.

Sharp_DSM_Reg.jpgAs Chairman of the Board, Doug Sharp has taken immediate advantage of opportunities to begin his philanthropic efforts. Working with a Des Moines, IA, church, Doug designed new dormitory housing for an orphanage in Barinas, Venezuela.

He and others traveled there at the end of February 2007 to try to convince community leaders that the dormitory is necessary. Fundraising has already begun, but no need to worry about paying for Doug's expert design services. They're a gift of the heart.

Seamark_ER_edited_web.jpgSeamark Ranch is a non-profit children's group home near Jacksonville, FL. During the annual intra-company BSB Design Competition in 2004, conceptual renderings of the homes were developed. Today, those concepts are becoming a reality. Construction is complete on the first boys' home, the first girls' home and a director's facility. More homes will be built as needed.

BSB Design is grateful for the chance to contribute to Seamark Ranch and the positive impact it will soon have on hundreds of children.

Spirit_of_New_Orleans_Playhouse.jpgBSB Design is a principled firm with strong core values, and employees relish the opportunity to give to those in need. To assist impoverished children throughout the country, BSB Design partnered with HomeAid to create "The Spirit of New Orleans".

Fetching thousands at a fundraiser auction, this amazing miniature will add a glimmer of hope to the lives of some very deserving individuals.

Make-A-Wish Schoolhouse_1.jpgThe Sacramento office of BSB Design recently collaborated with Centex Homes and the Make-A-Wish Foundation to design and build a classroom, therapy space and personal haven.

Leigh's Syndrome makes it nearly impossible for little Maggie to even leave her house, but with a new schoolhouse in her own back yard, she can now attend school for the very first time.

Ranch_Playhouse1.jpgIn Orange County, BSB Design's "Back at the Ranch" earned the Grand Award First Place (Best in Show) in HomeAid's Project Playhouse 2006.

Featuring double barn doors, an open beam ceiling and a wagon-wheel climbing rail, the ranch is a true reflection of the area's history. The playhouse earned $40,000 for HomeAid's fundraising efforts.

WRO_Birdhouse.jpgBSB Design "flocked" to help the North State Building Industry Association (BIA) scholarship fund -- and landed in the catbird seat! A team of creative, hard-working and playful employees from our Western Regional Offices designed and built seven nesting spots to be auctioned at a BIA fundraiser in October of 2006.

BSB Design's cabana-inspired getaway earned top dollar at the event.
