Four-legged friends from around the Des Moines, IA, metro area received quite a treat at the city's first annual Barkitecture event. Nearly 30 local architecture and design firms created unique pet dwellings and auctioned them to raise funds for the Animal Rescue League, a national nonprofit organization providing animal support services. BSB Design's Des Moines office contributed a "Doggie Duplex", a scaled down model of an actual duet building which fetched $500 for the cause.
