Royal Melbourne Country Club

Long Grove, IL

Situated on a Greg Norman-designed golf course, the 43,000 square foot clubhouse is influenced by its namesake, Royal Melbourne Golf Club in Black Rock, Australia. Pitched roofs, white trim details and subtle stonework give the clubhouse an exterior elegance that is best experienced from the grand elevated terrace overlooking the 18th hole. The terrace is accented by two sweeping stone staircases that allow members and guests easy access to post golf activities and club events.

On the interior, the white trim details are carried throughout the clubhouse. The walkout lower level supports the golf operations and includes a pro shop, locker rooms, men’s and women’s lounge and cart storage. The main level is home to a 300-person banquet room, 80-person bar/casual dining, 60-person fine dining, board room and administration offices. The full-service club includes a state-of-the-art aquatic/tennis complex and fitness facility.
