Ridge Creek Golf Club
This municipal golf facility, situated at the foothills of the Sierra National Forest on an 18-hole golf course, is a textbook example of how campus-style planning can allow a community to gradually realize a greater vision. Faced with budget restrictions and a desire to create a full-service clubhouse facility in a California Craftsman style, three separate buildings were proposed that could be phased over time and easily connected by site features, resulting in a seamless facility when fully completed. The initial phase included a pro shop and a full-service restaurant with a covered terrace. A future phase calls for a 240-attendee special event center building.
