Butterfield Country Club
The Butterfield Country Club underwent a renovation project for their 80-year old historical facility to restore the club’s identity and update functionality to better accommodate valued members and guests. The 85,000 square foot club had undergone numerous additions and renovations throughout its history, each one further distancing the building from the original 1920s Tudor-style design. A few minor additions, some facade remodeling and updated interior finishes resulted in a cost effective solution.
An approximate 25,000 square foot addition includes new public areas – a banquet room, bride’s room, two new dining areas – as well as new back-of-house maintenance and storage areas, staff locker rooms, and an employee dining lounge. Adding these banquet and dining areas allows the club to host more special events without interrupting exclusive membership dining. A few other subtle features, including a new Tudor-style bag drop, starter house and tournament scoreboard completed the offerings of this classic clubhouse.
