With 20 years of customer service experience and an Associate of Arts in Business Administration, Mary joined BSB Design in May of 2000 as the Human Resources Administrator. Her background proved a terrific fit as she built an HR team dedicated to providing its clientele (the staff of BSB Design) with a high level of service. For Mary, the employees are the best part of working for the firm - she has never found a greater group of people. Mary advanced to Human Resources Director in December of 2000 and was named an Associate of the firm in April of 2003. Her current responsibilities include the overall health, safety and security of BSB Design employees. She deals with employee relations, employment and workforce planning, benefits and compensation administration and human resource development facilitated through our in-house training program, BSB University. Mary's management philosophy has many influences, including Richard Haass: "The danger comes when you allow the urgent (but not very important) to crowd out the important (but not very urgent)." She believes in prioritizing the important aspects of life in concert with her career, and she urges employees at all levels to do the same.
