When the call came, we were more than ready to lend our services to this worthy, charitable cause. BSB Design’s Des Moines, IA, office developed the Extreme Makeover Home for the fourth episode in the fall of 2006.

The home replaced a rural Iowa family's former residence, which burned to the ground just before Christmas in 2005.

Reminscent of a Grant Wood painting, the home blends perfectly into the surroundting trees, hills and fields of the surrounding Iowa farmland. The uniquely traditional farmhouse elevation is embellished with a grand second-story balcony supported by stone pillars, making it far from typical. Landscaped grounds throughout and custom interiors complete the package.
